Lifestyle Intervention Health Certificate

A certificate program to promote health

The Lifestyle Intervention Health Certificate (LIFE C) provides an affordable, practical, and career-enhancing distance learning plan of study to prepares health professionals to practice health-focused lifestyle intervention. This certificate trains health professionals to move beyond advice to evidence-based integration, assessment and prescription of optimal fitness, stress management, and nutrition programs to decrease the risk and impact of chronic disease.

Certificate Curriculum

The LIFE C is a 12 credit, three semester program that can be taken as a standard certificate program.  The LIFE C curriculum includes:

Semester 1

Introduction to Health-focused Lifestyle Intervention 2 Credits
Defining Framework for Delivering Health-focused Lifestyle Intervention 2 Credits

Semester 2

Principles of Interpersonal and Organizational Health Coaching 2 Credits
Clinical KSA’s for Health-Focused Lifestyle Intervention [HFLI] Teams 2 Credits

Semester 3

Developing a Health-focused Lifestyle Intervention Business Plan 2 Credits
Health-Focused Lifestyle Intervention Capstone Experience 2 Credits
