Jason Richardson

PT, DPT, OCS, COMT

Jason Richardson is Vice President of Regulatory and Business Affairs for Results Physiotherapy. He works to continue building on Results’ mission to give patients a viable, evidence-based and cost-effective option for treating their musculoskeletal problems without an endless dependence on medications and risky surgical interventions. “I am proud of the Results Physiotherapy culture, our service-oriented care, and the clinical quality we provide our patients. Our entire team (clinical, support, billing, management) are keenly committed to our company mission. Which not only benefits our patients and referring physicians, but also the communities we serve.” Jason joined Results Physiotherapy in 2002 due to its reputation for outstanding hands-on therapy. He is passionate about manual therapy and elevating the profession, and felt that Results was the greatest vehicle to leverage those passions. Jason’s clinical experience as a licensed physical therapist began in a sports medicine clinic in his home state of Kentucky, where he provided post-operative treatment to high school and collegiate athletes. This setting offered an excellent opportunity for him to hone his skills, but he felt it did not support his interest in non-surgical physical therapy approaches. Conversely, Jason wanted to focus on restoring function without invasive surgeries or drugs, so he pursued a career change and acquired additional specialty training. At Shenandoah University, Jason earned his Master of Physical Therapy in 1998, followed by his Clinical Doctorate in 2004. During clinical rotation, he was fortunate to have the opportunity to train with several leading manual therapists certified by Stanley Paris and Robin McKenzie. He currently holds board certifications in orthopedics, ergonomic assessments, and manual therapy. Jason remains devoted to serving the profession and has held board appointments on the Nashville Health Care Council and the United Health Care Physical Therapy Advisory Council. He is active with the American Physical Therapy Association and the Tennessee Physical Therapy Association, the latter of which selected him as its 2013 Outstanding Service Award Winner. Jason has contributed to several peer-reviewed journals and been recognized for presentations on various topics which included health care reform, collaborative care models, therapy coding and manual therapy techniques. In his free time, Jason enjoys mountain biking and traveling with his family. He is a married father of three, and remains an active supporter of the Cedar Lake Lodge Foundation, a nonprofit organization which serves those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
